Retina Consultants of Hamilton supports research and innovation aimed at improving the understanding, diagnosis, imaging, and management of neovascular (Wet) age-related macular degeneration (nAMD), diabetic macular edema (DME), and retinal vein occlusion (RVO).
Research activities are conducted in collaboration with affiliated academic and healthcare institutions and are undertaken in accordance with applicable institutional, regulatory, and ethical standards.

Through collaborative clinical and academic activities, RCH supports research that advances the understanding, diagnosis, imaging, and management of retinal disease. Research activities include clinical trials, advanced retinal imaging, artificial intelligence, imaging biomarkers, evidence synthesis and knowledge translation focused on Wet age-related macular degeneration, diabetic macular edema and retinal vein occlusion.
